乘風破浪 尋找蘭陽美麗傳說
龜山島是宜蘭最令人印象深刻的美景之一，也是平埔噶瑪蘭族重要原鄉，其美麗的傳說故事更增添該地區的傳奇色彩。《龜山島傳奇》將宜蘭地區耳熟能詳的傳說素材如〈大蛇與蛋〉、〈冬瓜女兒〉和〈噶瑪蘭公主〉等，融合成全新的原創劇目，製作精緻偶戲演出。情節圍繞於這片土地上生活的人們，村民角色以杖頭偶形式呈現、生動逗趣，故事著重「人」的情感，以寓言的形式，賦予古老傳說現代意義。
The Legend of Turtle Island
Break the waves, and sail to the beautiful legend of Lanyan Land.
Turtle Island is one of the most impressive sights of Yilan, as well as the homeland of the Kavalan, a plain indigenous people of Taiwan. Their beautiful myth makes the area more legendary. The Legend of Turtle Island collects stories popular in the area such as “The Giant Snake and the Egg,” “Daughter from the Winter Gourd,” and “The Princess of Kavalan,” blending them together into an original play with well-designed puppetry to celebrate the life of people here. Villagers are presented with rod puppets, amazing us with their vivid gestures and humorous personalities. Like a fable, the humanity-based story creates contemporary meaning for ancient myths.
