Sweet Tears

兒時回憶的潮汐中,沉浮著一個被遺忘的漁村

無獨有偶工作室劇團與金鐘編劇詹傑再度聯手,剖析臺灣早期社會案件,以十歲女孩的日記視角,帶領觀眾與「偶」穿梭現實與虛構,揭開童話的懸疑迷宮。
一九八零年代的台灣南方小鎮,被魚塭、農田、破舊工寮圍繞的十歲小女孩珍珍,身邊僅有的故事書被老鼠啃壞了,她決定在日記本上,編故事給自己聽,「小美人魚」會跟巫婆撒嬌,吵著要去找遲遲未歸的爸爸;巫婆給「白雪公主」帶來七個小矮人朋友。珍珍有了故事再也不寂寞,然而她卻發覺媽媽一點一點地被偷走,換成了故事裡的那個恐怖巫婆,會在半夜起身就著月光,包裝起美麗糖果。現實與童話的界線開始模糊,一層層纏繞的漁網,一個個倒下的玩伴——媽媽的愛,究竟是救贖,還是毒藥?

Memories of a childhood spent in a now abandoned fishing village come flooding in.
For this production, Golden Bell Award-winning screenwriter Zhan Jie and Puppet & Its Double Theater have once again joined forces to analyze Taiwan’s early society. Based on the diary of a 10-year-old girl, the audience and “puppets” travel between reality and fiction, uncovering suspenseful fairy tale mazes.
In a small town in southern Taiwan in the 1980s, a ten-year-old girl named Zhenzhen lives surrounded by fishponds, farmland, and run-down sheds. Her only storybook has been chewed up by mice, so she decides to write stories for herself in her diary. In her tales, The Little Mermaid coquettishly clings to the witch, begging to search for her father who has never returned; the witch brings Snow White seven dwarf friends. With her stories, Zhenzhen is no longer lonely.
However, she gradually notices that her mother is being stolen away bit by bit—replaced by the terrifying witch from her stories, who rises in the middle of the night and, by moonlight, wraps beautiful candies. The boundary between reality and fairy tales begins to blur: layers of tangled fishing nets, playmates falling one by one—Is a mother’s love a salvation, or a poison?
